Optical Fiber Composite Overhead Ground Wire (OPGW)

OPGW products integrate grounding and optical communication functions, primarily designed for 35KV.110KV.220KV.500KV.750KV and new overhead high-voltage power transmission systems. They can also replace existing grounding lines in legacy overhead high-voltage transmission systems to enhance communication lines. The cables conduct short-circuit currents and provide lightning protection. Our company designs them according to users' specific environmental requirements, with optional structural configurations available upon request.

Optical Fiber Composite Overhead Ground Wire (OPGW) Product Series

Product Application:

OPGW products integrate grounding and optical communication functions, primarily designed for 35KV.110KV.220KV.500KV.750KV and new overhead high-voltage power transmission systems. They can also replace existing grounding lines in legacy overhead high-voltage transmission systems to enhance communication lines. The cables conduct short-circuit currents and provide lightning protection. Product features:

● Large cable diameter allows for high-density fiber core design

● Stable structure and high reliability

● High tensile strength and short circuit current capacity, achieving optimal balance between mechanical and electrical performance

● The optimal braiding design enables secondary fiber length retention

● The stranded wire can be designed with two or three layers

●Single wires may be aluminum-clad steel wires and/or aluminum alloy wires, or a combination of aluminum wires

● Mostly used for overhead installation.

Installation temperature range: -10 to +50℃
